About the 2017 Edition

The Graphic Design Student Show is an annual juried exhibition showcasing the best graphic design, motion graphics, illustration and web design work of students in the Graphic Design and Interactive Design Programs at Parkland College.

For the exhibition, a jury of Parkland design faculty selected the best student work from the current school year. The exhibition gives students a chance to present their work in marketing communication, branding, advertising, and design to industry professionals and the community.

• Summer Gallery Hours
  Mon–Thurs from 10am–7pm
  Closed May 29 in observance of Memorial Day

• Reception
  Wednesday May 17 from 5–7pm (RSVP on Facebook)
  Musical performance by the Parkland Guitar Ensemble
  Awards Ceremony at 6:30pm
  Reception co-sponsored by CUDO (Champaign-Urbana Design Org.)

• Gallery Talk
  Immediately after the awards ceremony, graphic design instructor Liza Wynette will give a gallery talk and guided tour of the exhibition. In an informal Q&A with select award winners, Liza will go behind the scenes and reveal how Parkland's Graphic Design and Interactive Design programs teach creative problem solving and design thinking.
