About the Show

The Graphic Design Student Juried Exhibition is an annual event showcasing the best graphic design, motion graphics, illustration and web design work by students in the Graphic Design Program at Parkland College.

For the exhibition, a jury of Parkland design faculty selected the best student work from the current school year. The exhibition gives students a chance to present their work in marketing communication, branding, advertising, and design to industry professionals and the community.

Designers and the Creative Process

Designers are paid to be creative day in and day out. We can't wait around for inspiration to hit when deadlines loom, so we have a process that leads us dependably to creative solutions to problems. Anyone can use this process for any problem. Graphic designer and Typography teacher Gretchen Wieshuber will talk about harnessing the power of the creative process.
