MEET THE PROS is a lecture series featuring local heroes from the Champaign-Urbana creative community

With over (gulp) twenty five years' experience in design, advertising and marketing, Al Fleener brings his expertise—and a daily passion for creating—to business. Al founded SURFACE 51 in January 2005 with the philosophy that the best people to run a creative agency are, ahem, those who actually create.

In addition to all things design related, Al spends a great deal of time (more than one should) watching both good and cheesy horror movies and obsessing over the best shade of black.
