Sponsored by the Mahomet Gardeners and Mourning Dove Farms, this annual event is now in it's forth year and more popular than ever. A ticket buys you admission to six of Mahomet's most exciting and innovative private gardens a free plant from us, and the chance to win a custom-made cedar potting bench. Tickets are available now at Mourning Dove Farms for advance purchase or to buy on June 24. Garden Walk sponsors donate all event proceeds to community projects.

Part of the Garden Walk festivities, our celebration of summer features a weekend of garden-related talks, and a post-Walk party with wine and light refreshments served beginning at 5 p.m. Those who wish to attend the lectures must register in advance.

Gosh, Toto, I don't think we're in Illinois anymore. Champaign-Urbana has culture, diversity, and truly incredible gardens. The Traveling Gardener So far, we've been to the Cincinnati Flower Show (twice), and to the Hampton Court Garden Show/Tour of British castles and gardens. With our own Josh Schneider as host, horticulture expert, and resident comedian, our annual trips are, as they say, a trip.
