Weekly
A List Apart

Happy Cog designs and maintains A List Apart, a weekly online magazine “for people who make websites.” The non-commercial ’zine covers design, code, and “content” and enjoys 60,000 page views per day, 1.8 million per month.
In February 2001 ALA was one of the first sites on the web to switch to an entirely standards-compliant, CSS-only design format. The site’s content is available to any web browser or Internet device, but its design is only visible in CSS-compliant browsers such as IE5+, Netscape 6.x, Mozilla, and Opera 5.
Why would we do that? Read this.
A List Apart is hosted by Happy Cog affiliate Webcore Labs.
